Released on September 15, 2009, the latest book of Dan Brown marks the third adventure of our famous hero Robert Langdon. From his first two books, "Angels and Demons" and "The Da Vinci Code" which gathered numerous positive comments through writing a term paper, Robert Langdon has proved to capture his audience in a chase-like investigatory work. Brown once again made an attempt to charm readers in another chase.
In contrast to the initial two Langdon books, The Lost Symbol isn't going to cope with the historical past of the Religious Christian church which belongs to the Freemasons. The story commences when Langdon was called to Washington, D.C., by way of an unexplained telephone call which he believes came from his old pal and counselor Peter Solomon, head of the Smithsonian. Our hero thinks he is about to provide a presentation at a Smithsonian fundraising event at the Capitol premises. However when he appears, there is no fundraising event and no presentation to make, just Solomon's dismembered hand, grotesquely tattooed, strapped on a surge in the Capitol rotunda. The pursuit and puzzle start at this point.
Nonetheless, everything complements with each other to produce a convincing thriller. Dan Brown once again was able to integrate scientific creations along with fictional gods.
